Today I took advantage of the nice weather and shot some pictures of the flowers at Highline Botanical Garden. Spring is here!

Today I shot photos of cherry blossoms. This is at Riverbend Golf Course in Kent.

This is an exercise out of a book about drawing that I'm reading. Each of these flower vases was a single line, drawn continuously without lifting my pen from the paper.

Tonight I drew flowers on the ends of my red leather pencil case using Sharpie paint pens.

This is a collage of a flower made with cut and torn paper scraps from magazines.

This was another exercise from the drawing book copying the style of Joan Miro, so I'm calling this "My Miro Flowers." This was mostly inspired by the painting Ciphers and Constellations, in Love with a Woman (1941).

This is my 2nd attempt at a hand-drawn pattern with much better results this time. I used a template that I made to place the circles and then filled them in with Bic Mark-Its markers.
