I was inspired by yesterday's pysanky egg designs and I wanted to make one, but the supplies are expensive and messy. This is a faux pysanky egg done with Bic Mark Its markers. Other than being a little streaky, it turned out nicely.

Still playing with my new Derwent Coloursoft Colored Pencils. This flower ended up glued on an envelope to Australia for another project I'm working on, The Collage Collaborative on Facebook.

I was looking for inspiration for today's flower and I came across this translated haiku by Basho, one of the ancient masters of haiku. I left this one in pencil so that I can scan it and try using different media to color/refine it.
